Introduction

In conjunction with the Birthday of His Majesty DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the 3rd of June 2006, Zonice Rovers are pleased to introduce “Tour-D’ Islands” - a “ Bicycle Touring”, expedition that will tour 3 islands - Pangkor, Penang and Langkawi , visiting 4 States – Selangor, Perak, Penang and Kedah for a period of 9 days.

The 'flag-off' will take place at the Kuala Selangor Nature Park ; Selangor at 08:00 hours on the 3rd of June 2006. Tour D' Islands will end in Langkawi on the 10 of June 2006.

The  'cycling tour', route will take the participants, to discover the charm of rustic villages, to enjoy and appreciate the scenic landscapes, culture and essence of our very unique 'kampong hospitality'.

The participants are multi racial male and female consist of youths (Youth Organization example Scout, Students) and adults (working professional). The cycling tour route are planned and designed, taking every consideration on the safety, road traffic and interesting hotspots. The groups are divided into 3-4 convoys with each consists of a convey leader and a assistance to lead the group. Support vehicles will provide assistance to the tour thought-out the whole journey. Certain part of the journey, the participants will be transported by bus and bicycles by lorry (Pangkor Island to Penang Island) for safety and to shorten the duration of the tour. It’s also part of our cycling tour package planning try run for our future group visitor.
